Random Audits
A percentage of MSDP and MAS individuals will be audited each year. If you are selected for an audit, you must present the Certification Board with proof of CEU’s.
Failure to Comply
Should you decide not to maintain your certification status, or fail to meet the requirements, your business listing will reflect the change in your status.
If you fail to submit your annual report and payment in a timely manner, or fail to earn the required number of points, you will be notified in writing by the Certification Board that your certification has been revoked. You will not be permitted to use the MSDP or MAS designation or be credited with such in any ASDP publication or employment inquiry until you have met the certification maintenance requirements and paid a processing fee.
Reinstatement
To reinstate your certification status, you will be required to accumulate 100 points, plus an additional 15 points per year for every year past your certification maintenance deadline. If you do not meet the certification maintenance requirements within five (5) years beyond your revocation date, you will be required to re-certify in each module of study.
